Clark Jewelry and Designs Hosts Trunk Show for Double Decker
Double Decker is heading this way, and Clark Jewelry and Interiors are hosting a trunk show that will display Elle Adorn Designs, the handcrafted jewelry of Eleanor Young, to celebrate the largest event in Oxford.
Elle Adorn, Madison-based and Delta-inspired designs, was founded three years ago. Each piece is designed and made by hand, and many pieces are one-of-a-kind and possess a unique style that represents a classic touch, yet still casual.
Young describes her line of jewelry as “rustic elegance.” Each piece has a various combinations of leather, chain, semi-precious gemstones, recycled glass and pave diamonds, which allows each piece of jewelry to stand alone or layered.
“There is room for me to help each customer individualize her own style within the line,” Young said.
Young is typically in Oxford for jewelry shows several times throughout the year. She said she has received a positive feedback from her line jewelry.
“Sheila and Steve have been very supportive of my business since day one, and the Oxford community has always been receptive as well,” Young said.
Clark Jewelry and Interiors was founded by Steve and Sheila Clark after deciding retirement didn’t seem like the right fit for them just yet.
Clark has been in the business for over 45 years and wanted to bring his own touch of jewelry to the Oxford scene.
“We are basically wholesaling fine-quality diamond jewelry and pre-owned Rolex,” Clark said. “As far as quality, I don’t think anyone can beat our prices.”
Wholesale prices are the lowest price ranges one can expect to see for a retailer customer, Clark said. It allows the customer to experience Clark’s buying experience from jewel cutters, diamond houses and wholesale manufacturers.
“I pass that on to my customers,” Clark said. “I have a real small profit margin that most stores don’t and can’t have.”
Clark Jewelry and Interiors is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Elle Adorn trunk show will be open for business at Clark Jewelry during the Double Decker Arts Festival Friday afternoon and all day Saturday. Clark Jewelry is located at 800 College Hill Road Suite 6102, next to Lost Pizza Company.
