Oakmont Subdivison: Providing A Pricing Alternative for New Home Buyers
The Cannon Cleary team of RE/MAX Legacy Realty represents two different builders to provide an alternative for new home buyers looking for more moderately priced homes.
JW McCurdy is the builder of choice for Phase I of the Oakmont subdivision. Homes in this phase are currently being offered starting at $249,900.
The square footage of these homes varies between 1,647 and 1,844 with extra square footage potential. Oakmont is located adjacent to the Oxmoor subdivision on the northern edge of Oxford less than four miles from the Square.
Phase II, which has already been launched as of two months ago, features homes currently starting at $349,900. Forrest Hill Development is constructing the homes planned for this second phase. Phase I has 22 planned homes with nine already under contract.
The lot sizes are approximately a quarter of an acre and the landscaping will include two trees per lot. The exterior facade of the Oakmont houses will vary between brick and siding with painted brick as one of the potential upgrades.
In Phase I, interior amenities will include fireplaces, granite countertops with Quartz as an upgrade option and an array of sophisticated lighting choices. Each home will come with either a patio or deck depending on the lot.
“These are very good looking homes in a great area and part of the Oxford City School District,” Blake Cannon said. With the initial positive response from buyers, these new homes should move quickly.
