Ole Miss has jumped to No. 1 overall in the 247Sports team composite rankings for the 2019 national recruiting cycle following three big commitments since Friday.
The Rebels entered the weekend with nine commitments before receiving pledges from 4-star dual-threat quarterback Grant Tisdale on Friday, as well as 4-star athlete Diwun Black and 3-star defensive back Braxton Ragland on Saturday. The haul is impressive for coach Matt Luke and his staff, who have had to recruit around NCAA recruiting violation penalties.
Ole Miss surpassed Miami (No. 2) and Georgia, who previously ranked No. 1 overall but fell to No. 3, following the de-commitment of 4-star offensive lineman Luke Griffin.
According to 247Sports, the Rebels currently have 12 known commitments and are expected to sign 25-27 prospects during the 2019 national recruiting cycle.
