Meet the Breweries at Jackson Beer Co. to Kick Off Miss-I-Sippin' Weekend

Sample a crafty taste of what to expect at this year’s Miss-I-Sippin’ beer festival with Jackson Beer Company‘s Meet the Breweries beginning at 2 p.m. Friday, March 23.

“We’ll have different breweries stopping in throughout the day,” said Allen Jackson, owner of Jackson Beer Company. “They will be pouring beer, sampling out their products.”
Bells Brewery, 1817 among other breweries will be sharing a tase of their craft beers at Jackson Beer Company until 6 p.m., when Miss-I-Sippin’s Brewers’ Dinner begins at Southern Craft Stove & Tap.

While you’re there waiting for Miss-I-Sippin’ to officially kick off, grab a slice of Fergndan’s Pizza. Who doesn’t want pizza while they savor some tasty brews?
Jackson likes to keep one little trick up his sleeve though. He never gives all of the details for events held at his store. 
“I like to leave a little bit up to the imagination,” he said. “People get a lot more excited when I don’t tell them everything. I want them to show up and see what’s happening.”
So, get out there and kick off this Miss-i-Sippin’ weekend with Jackson Beer Company. You’ll be glad you did.
The Yoknapatawpha Arts Council’s (YAC) Miss-I-Sippin’ beer festival celebrates locally brewed craft beers and brings Mississippi beer-lovers together for some live music, good eats and delicious drinks. For this year’s 9th Miss-I-Sippin’ festival, there’s even a scavenger hunt on Saturday, March 24. But, no hints. That part’s top secret.
