'Oxford Geezers: A View from the Porch' Debuts on HottyToddy.com

When two geezers get together on the porch for a chat, you never know what might come up.

In their debut TV show on HottyToddy.com, Tiger Woody and Radar, the Oxford Geezers, talk about Big Star turnip greens, eating lunch in a grocery store, the value of “dividers” in styrofoam go-boxes and the possibility of having sex while injured.
Radar, a nickname given to him by Archie Manning, is Michael “Mike” Henry who “married into Ole Miss” and came to Oxford from Natchitoches, Louisiana, via Tulane and UVA Law. Tiger Woody is Woody Sample, an Ole Miss and Sigma Nu alum from Plantersville (Tupelo), who booked bands for campus events while he was a student.
Henry, 68, describes himself as a “recovering” lawyer and has published nine novels and a number of screenplays. Sample, 70, a former consultant for Mississippi municipalities, now sells real estate with his wife Julie at Sample and Poole of Oxford.
This week, Radar and Tiger Woody launched a two-minute “prime-time” show, “Oxford Geezers: A View from the Porch” on HottyToddy.com.
“Tiger Woody and I play golf together and are always ragging on each other, and I thought it would be fun to do a show where two geezers talk about each other, everything and nothing,” Radar said.
Their first show was taped on Radar’s front porch, both wearing baseball caps and matching robes.
“We are good friends who just talk about whatever,” Tiger Woody said on the unscripted show. “I was a Sigma Nu at Ole Miss. Julie and I moved to Oxford five years ago, shortly after Mike and Gayle moved here. We all became friends, travel and enjoy Oxford together.”
“Oxford Geezers” will be carried on HottyToddy.com and on HottyToddy’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram on a regular basis.
“We appreciate HottyToddy giving us this platform, and it’ll be up to us to entertain our viewers on their phones and computers,” Henry (aka Radar) said.

It would be funnier if it wasn’t true.
