Alarms, Shoplifting and More in Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Two alarms, two animal complaints, three careless driving, domestic disturbance, larceny, malicious mischief, three motorist assists, shoplifting, four suspicious activity, two suspicious person, two suspicious vehicles, three welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated seven accidents, eight tickets and made the following arrests:
Two possession of schedule 4 drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a weapon by a felon, warrant served, K-9 search.
DUI 1st, careless driving, possession of a fake ID, K-9 Search
Shoplifting
Public Drunk, trespass.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, five alarms, three animal complaints, two disturbances, four petit larceny, three service calls, suspicious activity, four welfare concerns, scam, information, follow up, fraud, two reckless driving, civil matter.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made no arrests
Oxford Fire Department:
3/5 – AT&T store – a car leaked some gas in the parking lot – FD washed the gas off of the parking lot
No calls to the Fire Department on Tuesday
University Police Department responded to the following incidents:seven vehicle stops, three assists with traffic, three motor vehicle accident, intoxicated person, harassment, information call.
