Civil Matter, Public Drunk and More in Today's Crime Report

Oxford police responded to the following calls: Three abuse of emergency calls, alarms, animal complaint, two careless driving, civil matter, two disturbing the peace, three false pretense, two fire department assist, grand larceny, motorist assist, three suspicious activity, two suspicious vehicle, trespass, two welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated  five accidents, 29 tickets and made the following arrests:
Simple Assault
DUI 1st, Alcohol Possession by a minor
Shoplifting, Warrant Served
Warrant Served, No Tag, Suspended Driver’s License
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Three alarms, three disturbances, malicious mischief, three service calls, suspicious activity, two welfare concerns, information, follow up, fraud, reckless driving, civil matter, ID theft.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made one arrests

University Police Department responded to the following incidents:Four vehicle stop, motor vehicle accident, assist with traffic.
