"Kabuki:" Much More Than a Theatrical Japanese Production

The Japanese meaning of “Kabuki” is a formal presentation that relates to theatre and the stage. The Oxford restaurant (1631 West Jackson Ave., across from Bank of Commerce) also provides a great deal of showmanship, especially watching the Hibachi chef showcase his skills.
But the diverse and comprehensive menu is the real story. Kabuki Sushi Bar & Steak House is open seven days a week (11 a.m. to 10 p.m.), which is unusual for Oxford eateries. You don’t have to remember what day of the week it is and if they’re serving lunch. One of the many amenities that Kabuki has in play is the ability to serve large groups, up to 80 in fact.
Highlighting the menu, there are multiple selections to choose from, such as the Combination Hibachi Dinner (six choices), the Sushi entrees (11 choices) and the Kitchen entrees which offers yet another 10 options. The number of different appetizers is almost overwhelming.
The new and expanded menu also features 34 Chef’s and Special Rolls. Lunch dining at Kabuki does not lessen the eating experience whatsoever, especially with the Hibachi Lunch offerings.
Kabuki is also known for its exceptional customer service and budget-pleasing pricing. If you have not visited Kabuki recently, you might want to drop by for a delicious meal in a stellar Japanese setting with a dinner show and more!
