Oxford police responded to the following calls: 12 alarms, burglary-residential, careless driving, five department assist, k9 search, lost property, four motorist assist, other agency assist, public drunk, recovered property, four suspicious activity, suspicious person, two vehicle search, welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated  seven accidents, 14 tickets and made the following arrests:
Two disorderly conduct-failure to comply
Domestic Violence-simple assault
DUI 1st
DUI 1st, careless driving
DUI 1st, careless driving, speeding
DUI 1st, speeding, expired driver’s license
Two Possession of Paraphernalia
Public Drunk
Two public drunk, fake ID
Trespassing
Warrant Served
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, alarm, three animal complaints, four disturbances, petit larceny, 19 service calls, seven suspicious activities, transport, two reckless driving, two civil matters, natural cause death.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made two arrests

Oxford Fire Department:
07:46 – Croft Institute – 2nd floor west hall smoke detector malfunction
10:02 – Phi Mu house #28 – blow drying hair activated the smoke detector
11:44 – The Inn at Ole Miss Room #112 – using a steam iron for clothes activated the smoke detector
13:08 – Canterbury Crest #115 – cleaning the floors activated a smoke detector
23:16 – Stockard Hall room #501 – smoke from a candle activated the smoke detector
University Police Department responded to the following incidents:Possession of paraphernalia, suspicious person, possession of alcohol by a minor, vehicle stop, motor vehicle accident, malicious mischief.
