Oxford police responded to the following calls: Five alarms, auto-burglary, careless driving, credit card fraud, fire department assist, two motorist assist, scam, three shoplifting, two suspicious activity, suspicious persons, two suspicious vehicles, two utility call out, vehicle search, welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated  four accident, seven tickets and made the following arrests:

Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Schedule 1 Drug
DUI 1st, Wrong Way on a one Way
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Four accidents, alarm, auto burglary, disturbance, two harassment, juvenile complaint, eight service calls, suspicious activity, transport, trespassing, information, follow up, two traffic complaints, fraud, homicide.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made no arrests
Oxford Fire Department:
07:54 – Hwy. 7 & CR 301 – 4 car wreck extricated one patient
14:43 – Canterbury Crest #112 – smoke from cooking activated the smoke detector
04:56 – Lafayette Place Bldg. 2000 – water in smoke detector
University Police Department responded to the following incidents:vehicle stops, assist with traffic, accident property, motor vehicle accident, possession of alcohol in housing.
