Oxford police responded to the following calls: Five alarms, ambulance assist, two auto-burglary, careless driving, civil matter, disturbing the peace, two harassing phone calls, improper parking, K9 search, malicious mischief, shoplifting, two suspicious activity, suspicious person, suspicious vehicle, two vehicle search, three welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated three accident, 29 tickets and made the following arrests:

Three Possession of Paraphernalia
Four Shoplifting
Warrant Served, No Driver’s License, No Insurance, Expired Tag
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Three accidents, auto burglary, four disturbances, two harassment, juvenile complaint, four service calls, three suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, transport, two follow up, two civil matters.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made four arrests
Family disturbance
911 abuse
burglary warrant
simple assault warrant
Oxford Fire Department:
07:23 – 320 Thomas Street – this is the actual address of the fire not Webb Street – the fire rekindled and we extinguished it again
22:31 – The Graduate – blowing out a candle in the bar activated the smoke detector
University Police Department responded to the following incidents:17 vehicle stop, motor vehicle, speeding, no insurance, assist with traffic, suspicious vehicle.
