Oxford police responded to the following calls: Two 911 hang ups, 17 alarms, five ambulance assist, animal complaint, burglary, seven careless driving, two civil matters, counterfeit currency, defrauding innkeeper, 13 disturbing the peace, two domestic disturbances, domestic disturbances, grand larceny, four improper parking, eight lost property, three malicious mischief, five motorist assist, 10 noise violations, two petit larceny, phone harassment, two shoplifting, 15 suspicious activity, four suspicious person, two suspicious vehicles, two trespassing, 11 welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated  21 accident, 90 tickets and made the following arrests:

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Six accidents, nine alarms, three animal complaints, two disturbances, three petit larceny, three juvenile complaint, 18 service calls, 13 suspicious activities, welfare concern, two scams, four transports, trespassing, information, two follow up, two traffic complaints, five reckless driving, civil matter.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made two arrests

2/16 – 02:29 – Southland Body Shop – female having chest pains – monitored vitals until EMS arrived
2/16 – 12:03 – Mary Buie Museum – spray painting activated a smoke detector
2/16 – 15:06 – Dollar Tree – alarm company working on system
2/16 – 21:14 – Chi Psi house – smoke detector malfunction
2/16 – 23:16 & 23:57 – Sigma Chi house – using a smoke machine activated smoke detectors
2/18 – 17:28 – Oxford Grillhouse – smoke from cooking activated hall smoke detector
2/18 – 21:25 – Townhouse Suites by Marriott – room 102 cooking activated smoke detector
2/19 – 23:09 – Hefley Hall room 123 – smoke detector malfunction
2/20 – 00:25 – Residential South – 2nd floor kitchen burned popcorn
2/20 – 06:11 – New Baptist Hospital – 4th floor pull station fire alarm was supposed to be in test mode and it wasn’t
University Police Department responded to the following incidents:
Accident hit n run, 12 vehicle stops, motor vehicle accident, minor in possession, ambulance needed, malicious mischief, speeding assist with traffic.
