Counterfeit, Embezzlement and More in Today's Crime Report

Oxford police responded to the following calls: Two alarms, ambulance assist, two auto-burglary, counterfeit currency, three disturbing the peace, embezzlement, motorist assist, petit larceny, shoplifting, simple assault, five suspicious activity, suspicious person.
Oxford police investigated  two accident, 50 tickets and made the following arrests:
DUI 1st, Reckless Driving
DUI 1st, Speeding
DUI 2nd
Public Drunk
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two accidents, one alarm, two disturbances, petit larceny, harassment, malicious mischief, three service calls, three suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, transport, three information, traffic complaint, possible child abuse.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made three arrests
No driver’s license, no headlights
Grand larceny warrant
Petit larceny warrant
Oxford Fire Department:
No calls to the fire department on Monday
University Police Department responded to the following incidents:
Intoxicated person, speeding, suspicious person, service call, public drunk, accident hit and run, ambulance needed, vandalism to a vehicle, running a stop sign, harassment.
