Five Rebels Signed to Play for Coach Luke

Ole Miss head coach Matt Luke and his staff received national letters of intent from five future Rebels this morning.

The first letter came in at 6:38 a.m. from Hamilton Hall, followed by Luke Knox, Jakorey Hawkins, Kevontae’ Ruggs and Miles Battle.

Hamilton Hall


Hall is a 6-foot, 5-inch, 315-pound offensive lineman from Chamblee Carter in Atlanta. He comes to the Rebels as a 3-star player, according to 247Sports.com.
 
 
 

Luke Knox


Knox joins the Rebels out of Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee. He is a 220-pound, 6-foot, 3-inch outside linebacker. Knox is rated a 3-star player, according to 247Sports.com.
 
 
 

Jakorey Hawkins


Hawkins is a 5-foot, 11-inch defensive back out of Lee High School in Montgomery, Alabama. He is a 3-star player, according to Rivals.com.
 
 
 
 

Kevontae’ Ruggs


Ruggs comes to Ole Miss out of Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery, Alabama. He is an outside linebacker and a 3-star player, ranked 15th in Alabama at his position. Ruggs committed to the Rebels on Jan. 28.
 
 
 

Miles Battle


Battle signs with the Rebels out of Cypress Creek High School in Houston, Texas, at the wide receiver position. He is a 4-star commit, according to 247Sports.com, and ranks 56th at the WR ranking and 42nd in the Texas ranking.
