Domestic Disturbance, Petit Larceny and More in Today's Crime Report

Oxford police responded to the following calls: Alarm, two animal complaints, careless driving, disturbing the peace, domestic disturbance, harassing phone calls, larceny-auto, malicious mischief, motor vehicle theft, motorist assist, petit larceny, recovered property, three suspicious activity, three welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated  seven accident, 32 tickets and made the following arrests:
Domestic Violence-Simple Assault
DUI 1st, Driving on the Wrong side, No Insurance
Possession of Firearm by a Felon
Two Possession of Paraphernalia
Shoplifting
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two accidents, four alarms, disturbance, two domestic violence, two harassments, seven service calls, two suspicious activities, welfare concern, reckless driving, two civil matters, natural cause of death.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made one arrests
Domestic violence, simple assault
Oxford Fire Department:
20:26 – 98 CR 122 – waterflow alarm malfunction
22:40 – Hwy. 6 / Chucky Mullins Dr. area – wreck – no entrapment
01:13 – The Uncommons – waterflow alarm malfunction
University Police Department responded to the following incidents:
Five vehicle stops, traffic assist, ambulance needed, running a stop sign.
