Crime ReportOxford police responded to the following calls: Two 911 hang up, four alarms, ambulance assist, animal complaint, two disturbing the peace, domestic disturbance, two fire department assist, two grand larceny, improper parking, two K9 search, obstructing traffic, scam, three shoplifting, five suspicious activities, three suspicious person, suspicious vehicle, trespassing, utility call out, welfare concern.

Oxford police investigated  10 accident, 28 tickets and made the following arrests:
Public Drunk, Fake ID

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, aggravated assault, three alarms, two animal complaints, three harassments, six service calls, three welfare concerns, scam, two transports, trespassing, two reckless driving, two civil matters, search warrant assistance.

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made one arrests
Grand larceny warrant

Oxford Fire Department:
14:04 – The Connection – alarm company working on the alarm system
14:10 – Mug Shots – call canceled
15:17 – St. Anthony’s Hall – burned popcorn
15:36 – Oxford Publishing Bldg. 307 East Jackson Ave – alarm company working on the system

University Police Department responded to the following incidents:
Loud noise, speeding, driving without headlights, not wearing a crash helmet, vehicle stop, accident property damage.
