Oxford police responded to the following calls: Four alarms, two auto-burglary, four careless driving, credit card fraud, three disturbing the peace, false pretense, fire department assist, improper parking, K9 search, littering, motorist assist, two public drunk, scam, three suspicious activity, two suspicious person, two welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated four accident, 61 tickets and made the following arrests:
Domestic Violence simple assault
DUI 1st, Expired Driver’s license, speeding
DUI 1st, No headlights
Possession of Paraphernalia, No Seatbelt
two Public Drunks
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents:
Will be released on Wednesday
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made no arrests
Oxford Fire Department:
07:22 – Village Walk (1550 University Ave.) – rainwater leaking into smoke detectorsÂ
12:20 – Northgate Apts. University – first-floor alarm activation – no alarm present upon arrival
06:19 – Oxford Health& Rehab – a resident pulled the dining room fire alarm
