Oxford police responded to the following calls: 911 hang up, five alarms, burglary, two disturbing the peace, improper parking, malicious mischief, motor assist recovered property, suspicious activity, suspicious person, three welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated five accident, 56 tickets and made the following arrests:

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Thursday’s reports will be released Tuesday

Oxford Fire Department:
1/10 – 08:31 – Old Baptist Hospital – heat detector malfunction
1/10 – 12:27 – Vaught Hemingway North End Zone – heat detector malfunction
1/10 – 22:19 & 23:43 – Ole Miss Union – general fire alarm malfunction
1/12 – 05:59 – Lester Hall – smoke detector – someone microwaved a cup of coffee in a cup that was not microwavable!
