Ole Miss Head Coach Matt Luke will return to the Gulf Coast next month to be the grand marshal of Biloxi’s Krewe of Neptune Mardi Gras parade.
The Krewe of Neptune made the announcement on their Facebook page Monday, using “Are you ready…” and the “Hotty Toddy” chant to let everyone know Luke will be leading the parade through the heart of Biloxi.

Luke is a third-generation Ole Miss Rebel, and he achieved a lifelong dream of taking over the reins of his alma mater as the interim coach. The university made the move permanent on Nov. 27, 2017, after defeating the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the Egg Bowl.
Luke is the 38th head coach in program history.
The Krewe of Neptune will go through downtown Biloxi on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 5:30 p.m.
