SEC Matchups: Here's a Look at Tomorrow's Big Games
College football will crown a new national champion on Monday night – and it will definitely be a Southeastern Conference team. Until then, we also have a full slate of SEC men’s basketball games coming up on the first Saturday of the new year.
Saturday, Jan. 6, will tip off with an appetizer of sorts for the College Football Playoff National Championship game as Alabama travels over to Athens to face the Georgia Bulldogs on the hardwood at 11 a.m. on the SEC Network.
Then at noon, the Florida Gators will roll up to Columbia to tangle with the Missouri Tigers on CBS.
LSU will look to rebound from Wednesday night’s loss to Kentucky as they take on No. 11 Texas A&M in College Station at 1:15 p.m. on the SEC Network.
An in-state rivalry will tip off at 3:30 p.m. in the Pavilion as Ole Miss plays host to the Mississippi State Bulldogs. This game will be carried on the SEC Network.
No. 22 Arkansas will head to the Plains of Auburn at 5 p.m. on ESPNU.
The Vanderbilt Commodores square off against the South Carolina Gamecocks at 5:45 p.m. on the SEC Network.
Finally, Rocky Top will be the venue that has two top 25 teams facing each other when No. 17 Kentucky takes the floor against No. 23 Tennessee at 8 p.m. on the SEC Network.
