Oxford police responded to the following calls: Two 911 hang ups, abandon vehicle, 26 alarms, three ambulance assist, six careless driving, defrauding innkeeper, discharging fireworks in the city limits, three disturbing the peace, three domestic disturbance, elderly assist, embezzlement, grand larceny, two improper parking, k9 search, malicious mischief, two motorist assist, noise violation, two peddling, two petit larceny, property damage, residential burglary, shoplifting, simple assault, 12 suspicious activity, five suspicious person, two suspicious vehicle, five thefts from a motor vehicle, 11 welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated 14 accident, 26 tickets and made the following arrest:

DUI 1st, No headlights
DUI 1st, Obstructing traffic, No driver’s license
No Driver’s license
No Driver’s license, Fake ID, Expired Tag, No Tail Lights
Open Container, Speeding
Two Possessions of paraphernalia
Possession of Paraphernalia, No Seatbelt
Possession of schedule 2 drug
Simple assault
theft from a motor vehicle
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Eight accidents, aggravated assaults, 14 alarms, six animal complaints, 15 disturbances, grand larceny, petit larceny, five harassment, two juvenile complaint, malicious mischief, 17 service calls, 10 suspicious activities, eight welfare concerns, three transports, two trespassing, two information, follow up, three traffic complaints, three fraud, four reckless driving, civil matter, three natural cause deaths.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made seven arrests
