Bruce Woman Arrested for Allegedly Stealing from Walmart Cash Registers

The Oxford Police Department arrested Anita Carol Baker, 54, of Bruce, Mississippi, for alleged embezzlement on Friday, Dec. 15. OPD took a report from the loss prevention department at Walmart about an employee who had been taking money from the business.
After gathering all information, it was determined that Baker had allegedly been taking money from different cash registers from Oct. 21 until Dec. 15 totaling over $3,000. Baker was given a bond of $3,000.
