Civil Matter, Lost Property, and More in Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Two 911 hang ups, five alarms, careless driving, civil matter, five disturbing the peace, domestic disturbance, two lost property, two motorist assist, two petit larceny, property damage, scam, two suspicious activity, suspicious person, welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated four accident, 11 tickets and made the following arrest:
DUI 1st, Possession of Paraphernalia, Speeding
Two Possession of Paraphernalia
Public Drunk, Possession of Schedule 4 Drug
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Alarm, two animal complaints, four disturbances, petit larceny, harassment, two service calls, three suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, two transports, follow up, civil matter.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made no arrests
Oxford Fire Department:
11/50 – Stockard Hall – smoke detector activation outside room 901 – dirty detector
13:54 – Student Union – workers pressure washing activated the smoke detectors
18:43 – 614 Berkeley Court – call canceled en route
