Oxford police responded to the following calls: Two 911 hang ups, five alarms, animal complaint, careless driving, grand larceny, two motorist assist, other agency assist, shoplifting, simple assault, two suspicious activity, suspicious person, suspicious vehicle, welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated  six accident, 10 tickets and made the following arrest:
DUI 1st, speeding
Possession of Paraphernalia
Warrant Served X5
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, three alarms, two animal complaints, three disturbances, two harassment, four service calls, four suspicious activities, three transports, civil matter, vehicle fire, natural cause death.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made no arrests
Oxford Fire Department:
11:35 – Student Union – workers activated a fire alarm
13:32 – Turnberry Condos Bldg. O – power outage in the building activated the general fire alarm 
03:05 – 720A North Lamar – general fire alarm malfunction
