Oxford Park Commission Breaks Ground on New Activity Center
Mayor Robyn Tannehill joined members of the Oxford Park Commission Thursday morning for the groundbreaking of the new $11.5 million activity center.
Members from Innovative Construction Management and children of the Mother’s Morning Out program also assisted in the groundbreaking for the new building, which will be located in front of the old facility.
“This project has been talked about for many years,” said Seth Gaines, Oxford Park Commission’s executive director. “It’s a fantastic day to celebrate. The new activity center will do so much for our community. From the kids that play basketball to the seniors who take part in leisure lifestyles, this new activity center is a centerpiece for all of us.”
