911 Hang Up, Shoplifting, and More in Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Two 911 hang up, four alarms, animal complaint, three disturbing the peace, domestic disturbance, improper parking, three motorist assist, three noise violations, two petit larceny, shoplifting, simple assault three suspicious activity, utility call out, welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated eight accident, 11 tickets and made the following arrest:
Possession of Schedule 2 Drug with Intent X2, Possession of Schedule 1 Drug with Intent, Possession of Schedule 4 Drug with Intent
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: two accidents, two alarms, five animal complaints, residential burglary, four disturbances, petit larceny, malicious mischief, three service calls, suspicious activities, three welfare concern, transport, information, two civil matters.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made one arrests

16:17 – S. Lamar & Office Park Drive – wreck with 1 injury – stood by for EMS to arrive
00:59 – Phi Delta Theta house room 14 – smoke detector malfunction
University Police: Vehicle stop, hit and run, harassment, disturbance.
