Forgery, Noise Violations, and More in Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Three alarms, burglary, forgery, improper parking, K9 search, noise violation, property damage, shoplifting, suspicious activity, suspicious vehicle, welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated nine accident, 17 tickets and made the following arrest:
Disturbing the Peace
DUI 1st, Careless driving, No Driver’s License, Warrant Served
Possession of Fake ID
Two Shoplifting
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Four accidents, four alarms, two disturbances, two service calls, four suspicious activities, four welfare concerns, three transports, fraud, two civil matters.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made no arrests
Oxford Fire Department:
13:30 – 1790 Barron Street – called out to for a medical emergency but EMS was already on scene and transporting
University Police: Disturbance, vandalism to a vehicle, malicious mischief.
