Oxford Treehouse Gallery Showcases Eclectic Art Collection at Holiday Open House
The public is invited to attend Oxford Treehouse Gallery’s (OTG) Holiday Open House from 12-6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9. The day will include the works of regional artists, festive drinks and snacks, and a bonfire to conclude the event.
One of Oxford Treehouse Gallery’s goals is to share this space with other artists and to provide the public with a fine art experience in an unconventional gallery setting in Lafayette County.
OTG is currently showing over 20 different regional artists that encompass almost every medium, including University of Mississippi’s own Matt Long Ceramics; Richard Kelso’s oil paintings of Delta landscapes; Roxie Woodworks’ furniture; Tisch Jewelry Werk’s sparkly earrings, bracelets, and necklaces; abstract Ed Millet paintings; and cigar-box guitars handmade by Alan Gross.
The Roost, a gallery within the Gallery, also features an eclectic mix of one-of-a-kind art. Many pieces are under $50.
Regular OTG hours are 12-6 p.m., Thursday-Saturday 12, and happily by appointment.
