Time Inc's Food&Wine Votes Oxford Holiday Marketplace Best in Mississippi
Food&Wine’s Best Holiday Markets in Every State has voted the Oxford Holiday Marketplace the best for the state of Mississippi.
Food&Wine published The Best Holiday Markets in Every State and chose the Holiday Marketplace in Oxford as their top choice for the state of Mississippi. The second annual 2017 Holiday Marketplace is this weekend beginning with the Preview Soirée on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. The pre-shopping event is cocktail attire with a silent auction, drinks, and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $25.
Following the next day is the Holiday Marketplace on Saturday, December 2. Beginning at 8 a.m. will be mimosas, bloody mary’s and free Beagle Bagel breakfast for early shoppers. Tickets are $7, and children under 12 are free.
All 64 vendors range from gifts, to decor, art, pottery, jewelry, woodwork and much more, and are from throughout the entire U.S. Fergndan’s Pizza and Yoknapa Taco trucks will be outside the Jefferson for customers to purchase food. Oxford Photo Bomb will be taking photos with Christmas props for the event. The family-friendly Holiday Marketplace had 1,200 shoppers attend in December 2016, and expects to host even more for their second year this weekend.
The Holiday Marketplace will be at The Jefferson Oxford, a few miles from the Square at 365 Highway 6 East. Tickets will be available at the door or pre-purchasing tickets online is available to skip the line: hottytoddy.com/marketplacetickets
