Alarms, Lost Property, and More in Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Four alarms, ambulance assist, animal complaint, careless driving, credit card fraud, domestic disturbance, improper parking, K9 search, Larceny-Auto, two lost property, two malicious mischief, motorist assist, two shoplifting, two suspicious activity, three suspicious person, two suspicious vehicles, three welfare concern
Oxford police investigated 10 accidents, seven tickets and made the following arrest:
Possession of Marijuana in a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Paraphernalia, Expired Tag, No Insurance, Disorderly Conduct- Failure to Comply, Improper Equipment
Possession of Paraphernalia, Speeding
Suspended Driver’s License, No Insurance, Speeding
Warrant Served
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two alarms, animal complaint, disturbance, domestic violence, four service calls, suspicious activity, two welfare concerns, scam, trespassing three information, follow up, reckless driving, a road obstruction, 20 service process.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made two arrests
domestic violence, simple assault
felon in possession of a weapon
Oxford Fire Department:
08:42 – Hwy. 328 around the old gin area – wreck with entrapment – FD extricated the driver
University Police: The university crime report will be released on Nov. 27
