Real Estate Agent Brings Expertise to Oxford with Rebel Realty

When Pamela Roberson entered the world of real estate in Oxford some 11 years ago, she brought her competitive spirit with her. The owner/broker of Rebel Realty quickly found her niche.  

Roberson works with investors to help them find the ideal investment property that will generate cash flow and appreciate in value. “You have got to be in the know to be able to perform for your clients and develop the level of trust demanded for this business,” Roberson said. 
Property management is another niche that sets Rebel Realty, formed in 2010, apart from other Oxford-based real estate companies as Roberson and her team manage a considerable number of properties.
We asked Roberson about the personal traits that have contributed to her success in the business. “Honesty is first and foremost,” she said, “as you cannot develop trust by misleading clients. Rebel Realty’s foundation is one built on relationships that are necessary for the longevity that the profession desires.”
Roberson added, “My expertise includes relating to new investors. The right investments can create future wealth. You have to purchase at the ‘right price’ and possess the knowledge of the maximum rental rate with zero occupancy. I discourage more sales than closings for investors due to paying too high for a property and the fixed fees involved.”
With more than 400 real estate agents operating in the Oxford market, competition is key. By being very active in the community and through her involvement with about 15 organizations, Roberson has found that her knowledge of the marketplace continues to expand.
“I am very diligent and one could say a ‘go-getter’ as I take my job seriously 24/7,” Roberson said. 
Understanding value comes easy for Roberson as she is a certified appraiser and currently President of the Mississippi Coalition of Appraisers. Rebel Realty deals with a large number of out-of-state clients who greatly depend on local expertise of the market in order to make the best purchase decision.
“I sell more investment property than any other category,” Roberson said. “We have assisted buyers from Memphis, Atlanta, Dallas and Houston, just to name a few cities during the current year.”
