Oxford Civic Chorus Presents "A Garland of Carols" on Dec. 10
“A Garland of Carols” is the theme of the Oxford Civic Chorus’ (OCC) fall performance, to be presented at 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 10, at Nutt Auditorium on the Ole Miss campus.
Tickets for the holiday-themed event are $5 for students and $10 for adults and can be purchased at the door or through olemissboxoffice.com.
Thomas Ardrey is the chorus director, and Steve Taranto will be the accompanist.
The OCC is a nonprofit community choral organization now in its 19th year. It performs two concerts a year—one in the spring (May) and one in the fall (December).
The OCC will also perform at several upcoming events in the next few weeks.
Next on the schedule will be the OCC’s “Music to Your Mouth” event, to be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Chick-fil-A in Oxford.
The chorus will also sing from 4:30-6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 24, for the Christmas tree lighting on the Oxford Square. And they’ll perform at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9, at UM’s Gertrude Ford Center during a visit by Santa Claus.
