Oxford police responded to the following calls: Four 911 hang ups, 12 alarms, two ambulance assist, nine careless driving, two civil matters five disturbing the peace, two domestic disturbances, domestic violence, two harassing phone calls, two lost property, five malicious mischief, three motorist assist, two noise violations, two parking where official sign posted, three petit larceny, scam, three shoplifting, simple assault, 11 suspicious activity, four suspicious person, four suspicious vehicle, five welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated 21 accidents, 48 tickets and made the following arrest:

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Seven accidents, simple assault, seven alarms, two animal complaints, residential burglary, 11 disturbances, domestic violence, grand larceny, petit larceny, two harassment, two malicious mischief, 32 service calls, nine suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, two transports, five follow-up, two traffic complaints, fraud, four reckless driving, civil matter.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made no arrests

11/3 – 12:47 – Alpha Pi House – 1st floor smoke detector malfunction
11/3 – 13:04 – Baptist Memorial Hospital – 2nd floor surgery fire alarm malfunction
11/3 – 13:35 – Alpha Pi house – call cancelled
11/3 – 14:53 – 520 North Lamar – upstairs smoke detector malfunction
11/3 – 15:11 – Hwy. 7 / Hwy. 6 – wreck – no injuries
11/3 – 16:50 – West Jackson / Walmart – wreck with possible injuries – stood by until EMS arrived
11/3 – 19:)3 – 265 North Lamar – call cancelled
11/3 – 20:17 – Coulter Hall – panel showing fire system in trouble mode
11/3 – 20:29 – Phi Kappa Tau room 8 – smoke detector malfunction
11/4 – 13:57 – Thompson House #304 – cooking bacon activated a smoke detector
11/4 – 15:31 – Northgate Apt. 108B – burned food activated a smoke detector
11/4 – 15:56 – 3079 Davis Drive – 71 year old female with chest pains – stood by until EMS arrived
11/4 – 16:44 – University Inn – 35 year old female with chest pains – stood by until EMS arrived
11/4 – 19:31 & 20:19 – 520 North Lamar – upstairs smoke detector malfunction
11/4 – 21:52 – The Cove Apt. J3 – call dispatched as a “gas leak” – the Freon line broke on the A/C and leaked out
11/5 – 00:37 – ATO house – someone threw beer on the 2nd floor north hall smoke detector and cause it to activate
11/5 – 01:12 – Toyo Restaurant – call cancelled
11/5 – 13:10 – Baptist Memorial Hospital – sterilizing an operating room activated the smoke detector
11/5 – 17:42 – West Jackson Ave. @ College Hill road – wreck no injuries
11/5 – 20:46 – Chick-Fil-A – call cancelled
11/5 – 21:00 – Kappa Alpha House – smoke machine activated a smoke detector
University Police: Trespassing, possession of alcohol, MIP, accident property damage, vehicle stop disorderly conduct, information, suspicious person, disturbance, loud noise, public drunk, burglary.
