Disorderly Conduct, Lost Property and More in Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Four alarms, two careless driving, civil matter, credit card fraud, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, lost property, malicious mischief, motorist assist, property damage, shoplifting, four suspicious activity, four suspicious persons.
Oxford police investigated five accidents, 32 tickets and made the following arrest:

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Four alarms, two residential burglaries, two petit larceny, six service calls, three suspicious activities, three transports, two trespassing, traffic complaint, civil matter.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made two arrests

civil contempt warrant
Oxford Fire Department:
10:54 & 16:24 – New Baptist Hospital – 2nd-floor Auto-Clave sterilizer activated a smoke detector
21:13 – North 14th / North Lamar Blvd. area – smell of gas – FD located a small gas leak under the street – Center Point Gas was contacted
University Police: Fire, vehicle stops, intoxicated person, ambulance needed, motor vehicle accident.
