Credit Card Fraud, Scam and More in Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Abandoned vehicle, two alarms, animal complaint, credit card fraud, two disturbing the peace, domestic disturbance, grand larceny, improper parking, motorist assist, scam, three welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated 12 accidents, 23 tickets and made the following arrest:
Two public drunks
Possession of paraphernalia, disturbing the peace
possession of schedule 4 drug, possession of stolen firearm, speeding, expired driver’s license.
Possession of schedule 2 drug, possession of paraphernalia
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two accidents, alarm, animal complaint, disturbance, two juvenile complaint, nine service calls, three welfare concerns, scam, transport, follow up, two traffic complaints, civil matter.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made no arrests
Oxford Fire Department:
Helped pick a resident up that had fallen at The Blake.
University Police: Petit larceny, public drunk, vehicle stop, motor vehicle accident.
