SEC Weekly Matchups: Showcasing a Cross Divisional Matchup in the Swamp
The first six weeks of this college football season have flown by in the blink of an eye. Coming into the halfway point of the season, the Southeastern Conference has a few key matchups this weekend.
Thirteen of the 14 schools will be in action this Saturday.
The day begins with the South Carolina Gamecocks traveling to Rocky Top to take on the Tennessee Volunteers. Kickoff for this Eastern division matchup is at 11 a.m. and will be aired on ESPN.
Mississippi State steps out of conference this weekend and hosts BYU in Starkville. This SEC Network showdown will begin at 11 a.m.
Two Western division foes will meet on the gridiron inside of Death Valley as the Auburn Tigers will tangle with the LSU Tigers. Game time is set for 2:30 p.m. and will be aired on CBS.
Ole Miss plays host to Vanderbilt for the Homecoming game at 2:30 p.m. on SEC Network.
Then as night falls, a cross-divisional matchup in the Swamp will take place between the Texas A&M Aggies and the Florida Gators at 6 p.m. This game will be aired on ESPN 2.
Arkansas will go into Bryant-Denny Stadium Saturday for a 6:15 p.m. kickoff, and the game will be aired on ESPN.
The Missouri Tigers will go between the hedges to face the Georgia Bulldogs in the last game of the evening for the SEC. Kickoff is slated for 6:30 p.m. on SEC Network.
Only one conference team will miss the action this weekend because of a bye, and that is the Kentucky Wildcats. Kentucky is 5-1 on the season and will face Mississippi State next week.
