Disturbing the Peace, K9 Search and More in Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Seven alarms, two careless driving, civil matter, disturbing the peace, fire department assist, K9 search, malicious mischief, motorist assist, petit larceny, public drunk, suspicious activity, three suspicious person, theft from a motor vehicle, four welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated three accidents, 19 tickets and made the following arrest:
Three DUI 1st, careless driving
Possession of Marijuana with Intent, Possession of THC Wax
Possession of Paraphernalia
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Three disturbances, two harassment, malicious mischief, six service calls, three welfare concerns, two trespassing, three papers served, two reckless driving, court detail, civil matter.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made two arrests
gambling, felon in possession of a firearm
contempt warrant
Oxford Fire Department:
A smoke detector malfunction at the Blake
A resident pulled a fire alarm at the State Veterans Home.
University Police: 13 vehicle stops, two speeding, petit larceny, accident hit and run, suspicious person, assist with traffic.
