Ole Miss Volleyball Prepares for Weekend Road Trip
The Ole Miss volleyball team is off to one of the best starts since 2010 as they are 3-1 in conference play.
Last week, the Rebels took down Mississippi State and Georgia to get off to this fast pace.
Coach Steven McRoberts met with local media Monday to discuss how proud he is with the performance of the team.
“I am really proud of our team right now,” McRoberts said. “We are playing with a lot of confidence and, of course, winning will do that. The 3-1 start is our best start since 2010 and part of that is playing three-out-of-four at home. You are playing some teams that are in the middle of the conference, typically, that we will match up better with. It gives you the opportunities to have the start that we have had. I am proud of our young ladies coming out and taking care of that.”
This weekend the Rebels will hit the road and take on two top 35 RPI teams in Arkansas and Missouri. The Razorbacks will welcome Ole Miss in on Friday at 7 p.m.
