TGC Outdoors and Oxford EDF Present 10th Annual Golf Classic Fundraiser

The Oxford-Lafayette County Economic Development Foundation has partnered with The Range at TGC Outdoors to hold its 10th Annual Golf Classic fundraiser at The Country Club of Oxford on Oct. 6, and this year’s event features a fantastic raffle at the After Hours on the Green reception.
Artwork included in the raffle will include an original painting by Rosie Vassallo that depicts hole #3 at The Country Club of Oxford. This 24 x 36, acrylic medium painting displays the waterfront view of the beautiful green. Steve Vassallo, Community Ambassador of Cannon Motor Company, donated from his private collection a framed and autographed photo of Archie, Eli, and Peyton Manning. In addition, the raffle will include a framed and autographed print of Ole Miss Head Coach Matt Luke.
“Winners of the raffle prizes do not have to be present to win, stated EDF Golf Chairman, Rosie Vassallo. This is a great way to give back to the community by supporting this fabulous raffle.”
The Golf Classic will begin at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start. Currently, every place is filled for the golf scramble, but anyone who purchases three or more raffle tickets can participate in the putting contest, which begins at 11 a.m. This contest is sponsored by Comcast Spotlight. One lucky player will have the chance of winning a Bose Soundlink Mini Bluetooth Speaker.
