Grove Fashion Essentials for this Fall
Gone are the days that girls show up to football games in simple t-shirts and jeans here in the south, and especially here at Ole Miss since the Grove was created. The SEC offers us fashion lovers a chance to show off new outfits and show our style while supporting our Rebels. As southern belles, we look forward to Saturdays and know our outfit has to be on point, so we decided to take a look around to see our fans’ favorite new looks this season.
Jumpsuits
Throw a jumpsuit on and go on your way with confidence knowing it will be raved over. Pair with booties or wedges to add some height. For colder games, grab a leather jacket for an edgier look, or a cardigan to dress it down.
Buttons
Support the Rebels all day long with game day buttons. It adds a nice touch to any outfit. Our stores around town offer a variety of buttons with different colors, styles and sayings. So find one that best suits you!
Neckties
With endless ways to tie neckties, it is impossible to get bored with this one. This is a small accessory that has a big impact on any outfit. Wear it with a cute outfit that just needs something else to get that preppy “Harvard of the South” look.
Platform shoes
Not only do they ease the worry of walking around in heels/wedges on game day, but they are also easy to pair with any outfit. Platform sandals offer relief from the heat, and sneakers are a great idea for later in the season.
Clear bags
And last, but certainly not least: clear bags. The biggest game day essential this season. When clear bags first emerged, many people were shocked and did not know how to make it work. Now, companies have taken on this new trend and made them so much more than a plastic bag with a chain. There are many different kinds to choose from with our school sayings written on them, your initials, or one that you can carry all year-round, not just during football season.
All of these items can be found on The Square to get you ready for the next big game!
