Disturbing The Peace, False Pretense And More In Today's Crime Report

Oxford police responded to the following calls: 911 hang up, three alarms, two ambulance assist, two civil matter, three disturbing the peace, two domestic disturbance, false pretense, fire department assist, malicious mischief, two petit larceny, property damage, three suspicious activity, two suspicious person, utility call out two welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated four accidents, seven tickets and made the following arrest:
DUI 1st, careless driving, possession of schedule 4 drug
DUI 1st, ran red light, possession of schedule 4 drug
Suspended driver’s license, expired tag, no seatbelt, possession of paraphernalia
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: accident, simple assault, alarm animal complaint, commercial burglary, disturbance, petit larceny, juvenile complaint, 17 service calls, two suspicious activity/persons, two welfare concerns, four follow ups, fraud, traffic compliant, two reckless driving, two vehicle fires, three forgery.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made no arrests
Oxford Fire Department:
A zone 405 smoke alarm malfunction at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
Dry sprinkler system water flow alarm malfunction at Home Depot.
University Police: Two motor vehicle accidents, vehicle stop, vandalism, suspicious person.
