Credit Card Fraud, Simple Assault And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: 911 Hang Up, two alarms, ambulance assist, credit card fraud, lost property, petit larceny, simple assault, suspicious activity, two suspicious persons, welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated eight accidents, 35 tickets and made the following arrest:
DUI 1st
No driver’s license, expired tag, possession of paraphernalia, warrant served, no seatbelt
Public drunk, fake Id
Warrant served for no driver’s license, expired tag
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two alarms, animal complaint, two commercial burglaries, four disturbances, petit larceny, harassment, four service calls, welfare concern, two transports, follow up, civil matter.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made one arrests

Oxford Fire Department:
Medical call for allergic reaction to food—no patient contact—school nurse and resource officer handled the issue at Oxford High School.
C-Spire workers hit a gas line—evacuated the area and stood by for Center Point Energy to repair line at South Lamar @ Azalea Drive.
University Police: Vehicle stops, vandalism to a vehicle, accident property damage, accident hit and run, ambulance needed, vandalism to a vehicle, larceny, assist with traffic.
