Today, we recognize the 16th anniversary of one of the most tragic events of our country: the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. We here at HottyToddy.com remember all the victims of the attack and we keep their families in our thoughts and prayers on this solemn day. Thank you to all of our first responders and members of the military, both here on our soil and overseas. Your service to protect our freedom will never be forgotten.
Everyone remembers where they were the first time they heard the news and the utter disbelief that followed. In the 16 years since that day, we have never forgotten the pain that our country endured, but in times of trouble, America has a way of coming together for a common cause.
On the Ole Miss campus, several organizations have placed American flags in their yards to commemorate the 16th anniversary of the attacks and honor those who lost their lives.
Ole Miss ROTC ran their annual memorial run in remembrance of the victims of 9/11 earlier this morning.
