Nashville Songwriter's Night Brings Music City To Oxford
Last night, three of Nashville’s songwriters took center stage at the Ford Center for the aptly named “Nashville Songwriter’s Night.” Pat Alger, Dickey Lee, and Roxie Dean sang both their songs and their chart-topping lyrics which have been written for the likes of Garth Brooks, George Jones, Jamie O’Neal and more.
Back when the event was announced, the organizer of the night Steve Vassallo promised a standing ovation and that’s exactly what happened after the audience was treated to over two hours of hit songs accompanied by the stories behind them.
