911 Hang Ups, Public Drunks And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Three 911 hang ups, alarm, two ambulance assist, five careless driving, disturbing the peace, two improper parking, malicious mischief, petit larceny, property damage, suspicious activity, six welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 29 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
DUI 1st
DUI 1st, ran red light, open container, warrant served
Possession of paraphernalia, No headlights
Public drunk, Fake ID
3 Public drunks
Shoplifting
Suspended driver’s license, cutting corners
Suspended Driver’s license, warrant served no insurance, expired tag
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, simple assault, two alarms, two animal complaints, three disturbances, petit larceny, seven service calls, seven suspicious activities, three transports, traffic complaint, three civil matters.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made no arrests
University Police: Intoxicated person, ambulance needed, suspicious vehicle, vehicle stops, accident property damage, possession of alcohol, vandalism to a vehicle, loud noise disturbance, assist with traffic, possession of drug paraphernalia, fake ID.
