Credit Card Fraud, Suspicious Person And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Abandon vehicle, five alarms, two careless driving, credit card fraud, three disturbing the peace, fire department assist, harassing phone calls, improper parking, lost property, motorist assist, pan handling, scam, shoplifting, two suspicious activity, two suspicious person, utility call out, two welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated nine wrecks, issued 38 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
DUI 1st
DUI 1st, speeding
DUI 1st, warrant served, expired driver’s license, no insurance
2 Fake ID
2 Littering
Open Container
Public Drunk
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two accidents, alarm, two disturbances, grand larceny, two service calls, two suspicious activities, welfare concern, two transports, two trespassing, follow up, court detail, two civil matters.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made three arrests
Trespassing, false information
disorderly conduct
commercial burglary
University Police: Intoxicated person, vehicle stop, fight, accident property, hit and run, petit larceny.
