Domestic Disturbance, Larceny And More In Today's Crime Report

Oxford police responded to the following calls: 911 hang up, six alarms, nine careless driving, disturbance, disturbing the peace, domestic disturbance, three improper parking, lost property, malicious mischief, motorist assist, petit larceny, simple assault, suspicious activity, seven suspicious person, two suspicious vehicle, two welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 15 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Careless Driving, No Insurance, Possession of Schedule 2, 3, and 4 Drug
Public Drunk
Public Drunk, Fake ID
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two accidents, simple assault, alarm, two animal complaints, auto burglary, residential burglary, three disturbances, grand larceny, two petit larceny, harassment, juvenile complaint, nine service calls, three welfare concerns, four transports, trespassing, two information, road obstruction, five civil matters, commercial burglary, disturbing the peace.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made one arrests

Oxford Fire Department: 
Medical assistance call at a wreck scene assisted EMS with patient care at 419 Hwy 6 West.
Assistance call at the Chi Psi house.
System malfunction activated several smoke detectors at the Chi Omega House.
Assisted a stranded motorist on Jackson Avenue West at Country Club Road.
Smoke detector malfunction in room 410 of Heyfley Hall.
General fire alarm malfunction at 434 North 14 street.

University Police: Information, possession of drug paraphernalia, accident hit and run, accident property damage, running stop sign, vehicle stop, assist with traffic.
