Oxford police responded to the following calls: 911 hang up, seven alarms, animal complaint, two careless driving, civil matter, disturbance, two fire department assist, two improper parking, lost property, malicious mischief, motorist assist, petit larceny, recovered property, two suspicious vehicles, two suspicious activity, three suspicious persons, two welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated six wrecks, issued 25 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:

DUI 1st, careless driving
DUI 1st, no headlights
DUI 1st, speeding
DUI 2nd, wrong way on a one way suspended drivers license
MIP
4 open containers
Public drunk
Public drunk, fake ID
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, five alarms, two animal complaints, disturbance, 15 service calls, five suspicious activity/persons, welfare concern, three transports, civil matter, traffic detail, littering, reckless driving, natural cause death, two follow ups.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made one arrests
Justice Court contempt, Indictment for possession of a controlled substance
Oxford Fire Department: 
Smoke detector malfunction at 109 Eagle Point Loop.
Sanding the floor activated a smoke detector in room 125 of Jackson Avenue Center.
19 year old female having chest pains—assisted EMS with patient care at 1914 University Avenue.
Wreck with injuries call—upon arrival there were no injuries at Hwy. 6 and West Jackson Ave.
Workers activated a smoke detector at 3830 Majestic Oaks.
Car fire—extinguished the fire at 1405 Jackson Avenue East.
First floor smoke detector malfunction at Brookdale.

University Police: Possession of paraphernalia, ambulance needed, seven vehicle stop, malicious mischief.
