Oxford police responded to the following calls: 911 hang-up, 10 alarms, three complaints, 10 careless driving, three civil matters, nine disturbing the peace, elderly assist, two fire department assist, four improper parking, lost property, malicious mischief, two motorist assist, four noise violations, petit larceny, two recovered property, nine suspicious activity, three suspicious person, two suspicious vehicles, theft, utility call out, six welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated 17 wrecks, issued 60 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Three accidents, aggravated assault, four alarms, five animal complaints, auto burglary, 10 disturbances, domestic violence, three petit larceny, three harassment, malicious mischief, 11 service calls, 20 suspicious activities, vandalism, three welfare concerns, transport, information, traffic complaint, three reckless driving, four civil matters.

Oxford Fire Department:
Alarm malfunction in room A01 of the Jackson Avenue Center.
Wreck with injury call—EMS cancelled fire department to 2159 South Lamar.
Boiler room fire alarm malfunction to the Super Computer Bldg.
Sanding sheet rock activated a smoke detector at 435 Turnberry Court.
Wreck with injuries—provided first aid until EMS arrived at Rebel Drive and West Jackson Avenue.
Workers accidentally tripped a pull station fire alarm at Ole Miss Student Union.
Vehicle fire—fire was out upon arrival at 80 Old Taylor Road.
Sixty year old female was having chest pains—assisted EMS with patient care and loading at the Oxford Conference Center.
54 year old female having chest pains—assisted EMS with patient care and loading at Chevron Food Mart.
Wreck with entrapment—extricated victim from vehicle at 52 CR 217.
Residents cooking activated a smoke detector at 624 Van Buren.
University Police: 11 vehicle stops, suspicious vehicle, ambulance needed, assist with traffic, intoxicated person, public drunk, harassing phone call.
