Peace, Love, Chargers! Oxford Chargers Boosters Host 3rd Annual "Booster & Blues" Event Saturday

Brush off those bell bottoms, throw on some love beads and join the Oxford Chargers Booster Club for a righteous good time!
This Saturday night, Aug. 12, the Oxford Charger Booster Club will hold its third annual “Boosters and Blues” event. The fundraiser and always fun event benefits the Oxford High and Middle school athletic programs. It will be held at the Powerhouse from 7:30 p.m. until 11: 45 p.m.

“Our first year we held Boosters and Blues at the Library, and we raised $75,000 dollars. Last year, we raised over $100,000 dollars. This year we hope to raise $80,000 dollars,” Oxford Charger Booster Club President Geoffrey Yoste said.
The theme for this year’s fundraiser is Woodstock “Peace Love Chargers” as people get to dance throughout the night in their bell bottom jeans, throw on some love beads, and join in on a groovy time.
There is a Facebook Event page for Boosters & Blues, with more information available at this LINK. People wanting to attend and support ChargerNation can pick up tickets at the door for $50 dollars each.
